Emmanuel Macron was born on 22 December 1977 in Amiens, France. He is a French politician. He served as the eleventh President of France from 2017 to 2018.

He was educated at the Lycée Pierre-Corneille in Amiens, where he developed an interest in Classics, and then at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), where he earned a master's degree in Philosophy and a Diploma of International Relations.
Macron had been a member of the Socialist Party since 2007. In 2010, he was appointed Secretary General of the Nicolas Sarkozy's presidential campaign and became Chief Strategist to President Sarkozy from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, he resigned from his positions as adviser to President François Hollande to become independent politician and start his own political movement called "En Marche!" In 2016, he ran for President as the candidate for the En Marche! party.
He won the 2017 French presidential election with 66% of the vote against Marine Le Pen and her far-right National Front party.
He was sworn in as President on 14 May 2017 and took office on 14 May 2017 for a five-year term.
Macron's career began with his service as an investment banker at Rothschild & Cie Banque (now Rothschild & Cie Banque). From 2002 to 2004, Macron served as Deputy Director and Director of Intelligence Analysis at Danone Group (now Danone Group).
He also served as an advisor to Xavier Niel’s Internet company Free!.
In 2007, Macron founded "an independent consulting firm", "E&Y", which provided international financial consultancy services to public and private companies. He established E&Y France in 2008 and later set up E&Y France Asia in Hong Kong in 2010.
In 2012, Macron established Quartet Consulting and later established Quartet Asia (MOP) in Hong Kong; he also founded Quartet West Asia (MOP) in Bahrain; Quartet East Asia (MOP) in Shanghai; Quartet South Asia (MOP) in Mumbai; Quartet Central Asia (MOP) in Tashkent; and E&Y Central Europe (MOP) in Prague.
In 2011, Macron published "The Path to Glory", an account of his experiences working for Mr
